Our mountain hut team hosts festivities for you every Thursday! Enjoy delicacies from the grill at the end of a hot summer’s day in the Allgäu Alps. In winter, this is a pitstop for tours on snowshoes, sledges or downhill skis.

Because many people ask: we open longer on our mountain hut evening so that mountain lovers who relish being in the mountains after dark can enjoy a cosy get-together. :)

Allgäu mountain breakfast

Every Sunday from 9.30 - 11.00 a.m. at the Rohrkopfhütte mountain hut on the Tegelberg.

Feeling the first warm rays of sun on your skin early in the morning, hearing cowbells tinkle and taking deep breaths of the fresh mountain air - there’s nothing better!

After the one-and-a-half-hour ascent with a view of the Tegelberg and the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau royal castles, you will be rewarded with our Allgäu mountain breakfast!

Breakfast with an Alpine panorama:
Our mountain hut team will treat you to regional cheese and sausage delicacies, scrambled eggs or a few Weißwürstl (white sausages), fresh bread, fruit with natural yoghurt and granola - not to mention the magnificent view.

Price per person: €22.90 including hot drinks

Every Sunday our hotel guests can make an active and enjoyable start to the day and have breakfast at the hotel’s own mountain hut at an altitude of 1,320 metres instead of at the hotel.

Winter fondue evenings

Every Monday from 17 October 2022 - 19 December 2022 and 9 January 2023 - 27 March 2023

What could be better than ending the day by a roaring fireplace with a glass of red wine and fondue in our mountain hut?

We offer a cosy fondue evening in our hotel’s own mountain hut on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the autumn and winter months.

Fondue: either the classic fondue with meat broth or the regional version with Allgäu cheese - always accompanied by various side dishes and a selection of fine wines. And what we can never have enough of at our Rohrkopfhütte: the mountain hut merriment!
